A group of Energise researchers (Audley Genus, Frances Fahy, Gary Goggins, Marfuga Iskandarova and Senja Laakso, pictured) from a number of consortium partners have submitted a think piece to the SHAPE ENERGY Platform. The article is on imaginaries and the everyday practice of social science energy research and research funding. SHAPE ENERGY (which is coordinated through Anglia Ruskin University, UK) is funding a number of interdisciplinary and cross-European written contributions – of around 3,000-4,000 words each – that explore, critique and showcase the ways that different disciplinary approaches can (and should be) integrated for the betterment of future EU energy policy. The think piece collection is due to be published as an edited volume by Palgrave Macmillan in August 2018.
